Inspired by technology & German Beer Halls John Macatangay brought South Florida Their First Self Serve Beer Hall
With 55 self-serve draft lines that contain craft beer, hard-seltzer, cider, nitro coffee, hard kombucha, and natural wines we created an event-driven place with cool technology, great local/national independent craft beer, and an amazing craft community.
Our Story
Hopportunities was founded by John Macatangay. An Insurance Agency Owner by Day and Craft Beer Hall Owner by Night!
After Completing a 200-mile relay race, in April of 2018, from Long Beach, CA to San Diego, CA John walked gingerly from his hotel to a small self-serve craft beer bar.
Amazed by the ability to pour your own beer and his love to try all things craft beer, he decided it was time to bring this concept to South Florida
John wanted to create a very social type environment that was more light, bright, and joyful than the average taproom. Inspired by the beer halls in Germany, Hopportunties is a place where you can find avid craft beer drinkers, families, friends, and professionals all enjoying and interacting with each other. We want you to Make Friends, Meet Friends, and Beer Friends.
Hopportunities is an event-driven place whose technology and amazing craft beer are just part of its DNA. We have weekly events like Trivia, Run Club, and Corn Hole League. Live Music by some of the best resident artists in South Florida. Monthly Events such as Comedy Night, Paint Night, Music Bingo, and Karaoke. And Coming soon Beer and Food Festivals!
